Den of the Displacerkin - 5e One-Shot

Den of the Displacer Tweet (2).png

For our second One Door Dungeon, we bring you the Den of the Displacerkin. This is our first dive into homebrewing a creature for one of our rooms and it was quite the challenge. During play-testing a lot was exposed and the original concept morphed into what you will find within the guide. We are excited to hear about all of the shenanigans that players get into with a foe that is heavily inspired by a classic Hollywood monster.

We have a guide for the One Door setting over at Tavern of the One Door and you can play in an entire setting where every so often a new door pops up and the party can dive in. That way you save on the prep time and have everything you need to just hop right in. Other than the players of course.

Be sure to download the session guide above and the map here and if you need characters to dive into the dungeon we suggest heading on over to www.dndbeyond.com to build some in minutes.

Now, without further ado, we present to you, One Door Dungeon’s Den of the Displacerkin.

(A cry can be heard in the darkness. Was it you?)

SETTING NOTES

An elusive foe hides in the dark forest waiting to add more notches to its belt. Can the party figure out its cunning ways and defeat the beast in combat before they are all turned into trophies?

Den of the Displacerkin is an original idea by Devin Steffens, @merlin_nv on Twitter, be sure to drop him a follow.
